From a large stage prepared for the occasion, and with a gigantic screen on which the river show, 'Navigalia' could be seen as a promotion, which can be seen starting December 20, Mayor José Luis Sanz broadcast his wish that Sevillians can enjoy Christmas 2023 in the best way. Thus, and accompanied by eleven children aged 5 to 14 years from each of the city's districts and from different public schools.

The streets are filled with people, children and adults enjoy Christmas in Seville that is lit in its best clothes. Lights, Christmas and Commerce come together one more year so that people can go out for a walk through their city

The official opening was on the eve of the Inmaculada Bridge and this year it will have 287 streets and squares spread throughout the old town, Los Remedios or Triana

The most iconic streets in the center (Avenida de la Constitución, Sierpes, Tetuán, Imagen, Campana, Laraña, Alfonso XII, Salvador and Asunción) have specific designs and will be the area with the most illuminated streets and will have exclusive newly created motifs. The city council will once again install a good assortment of Christmas trees in the following locations:

  • Jerez Gate
  • Santa Justa Station
  • Emilio Lemos Avenue
  • Cuba Square
  • Access roundabout to Torreblanca
  • Parqueflores (Northern district)
  • South Polygon
  • Forja XXI Roundabout
