Christmas is coming to Seville

Christmas is coming to Seville

From a large stage prepared for the occasion, and with a giant screen on which you can see the grand opening party of the Christmas lights switch-on, Mayor José Luis Sanz and the singers Andy and Lucas will be responsible for kicking off this day long awaited by thousands of Sevillians at the end of Avenida de la Constitución in Seville and Plaza de San Francisco.

With the beginning of Christmas, the streets are filled with people, children and adults who enjoy Christmas in Seville, which is lit up in its best finery. Lights, Christmas and commerce come together once again this year so that people can go out and stroll around their city.

The official opening will be on November 30, which this year will have 287 streets and squares spread throughout the old town, Los Remedios and Triana.

The most iconic streets in the centre (Avenida de la Constitución, Sierpes, Tetuán, Imagen, Campana, Laraña, Alfonso XII, Salvador and Asunción) have specific designs and it will be the area with the most illuminated streets and will have exclusive newly created motifs. The city council will once again install a good assortment of Christmas trees in the following locations:

  • Puerta de Jerez
  • Santa Justa Station
  • Avenida Emilio Lemos
  • Plaza de Cuba
  • Torreblanca access roundabout
  • Parqueflores (North district)
  • Polígono Sur
  • Glorieta Forja XXI

From THE SUN PLACES, we hope that these dates will be unforgettable for our travelers who stay in the luxury apartments in Seville that we have prepared for the occasion.
