Cirque du Soleil is back in Seville for another year with its Alegría show, which can be enjoyed in the city for the first time from 28 September to 17 November. The Cirque du Soleil Big Top has once again been set up in Charco de la Pava to offer this show, which is an emblem of the Canadian company and which was enjoyed in Spain 26 years ago. Premiering in 1994, Alegría has become one of Cirque du Soleil’s most beloved shows, captivating more than 14 million spectators in 255 cities in 40 countries over 19 years of touring. In 2019, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Alegría returned to Montreal in a whole new light, revamping every aspect of the show to inspire today’s audiences as much as it did at its creation. In 2024, Cirque du Soleil will take Alegría on tour around Spain, stopping in cities such as Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, and Madrid, and arriving in Seville on September 28, 2024, in the Big Top installed in Charco de la Pava.
