The Cajasol Foundation's Summer Nights

In addition to the offerings of the Real Alcázar, the Palace of the Marquises of la Algaba, the Jazz series at the CAAC, and open-air screenings, the 14th edition of "Summer Nights" at the Fundación Cajasol is joining the list.

The Cajasol Foundation kicks off the summer season with a new edition of its well-established "Summer Nights at Cajasol" series, a cultural program that will transform the emblematic courtyard of its headquarters in Seville into a vibrant open-air stage. During the months of July, August, and September, the public will be able to enjoy a wide and diverse artistic offering, including musicals, jazz, rock, salsa, Latin music, and other genres, designed to liven up the warm Sevillian nights.

Highlighted Programming

July: Classics and Nostalgia

  • Thursday, July 10: Grease Generation will revive the legendary musical Grease, transporting the audience to the golden age of the 1950s with its choreography, costumes, and unforgettable songs.
  • Thursday, July 17: The Assejazz Big Band, accompanied by vocalist IO The Singer, will offer "The Swing Era," a concert dedicated to the great classics of dance jazz.
  • Wednesday, July 24: "Algo de mí," a moving tribute to Camilo Sesto, will reinterpret his ballads and pop hits with a soulful staging.
  • Wednesday, July 31: Rock & Ríos Band will pay tribute to the legendary Miguel Ríos, recreating the spirit of his album Rock& Ríos and the unforgettable 1980s of Spanish rock.

August: Fun, dancing, and new offerings

  • Wednesday, August 7: Diva’s Disco, a musical comedy full of humor, dancing, and glamour, will celebrate 1970s disco music with energy and spectacularity.
  • Wednesday, August 21: A day dedicated to Latin dance, including bachata workshops (taught by Rodrigo Torres and Beatriz Robaína of Los Reyes del Mambo) and salsa (by Hedy of Son Salseros), followed by a live concert by Son de Cuba & Company that will bring Cuban flavor to the stage.
  • Wednesday 28th: The young and talented Miguelinchi López will offer an intimate concert, fusing guitar, flamenco, and pop with heartfelt lyrics and emotional melodies.

September: the grand finale

  • Wednesday 11th: The series will close with O Sister!, a leading group of 1930s swing and vocal jazz artists, combining brilliant harmonies, stage elegance, and a repertoire that invites dancing and nostalgia.

All shows will begin at 9:00 p.m. and admission will be free until capacity is reached in the Patio de la Fundación Cajasol (Calle Francisco Bruna, 1).
