The Holy, Metropolitan and Patriarchal Cathedral Church of Santa María de la Sede y de la Asunción in Seville; better known as Seville Cathedral, it is a Gothic-style Catholic temple. UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1987.
The construction began in 1433, according to this documented Gothic origin that was built in the old Aljama Mosque of Seville of Arab origin, a few meters from the Real Álcazar and the Archivo de Indias, places to get lost in the city of Seville.

Currently it is totally pedestrian and only crosses a tram that brings you to the Seville City Hall (Plaza Nueva) through the Avenida de la Constitución.
The temple houses the mortal remains of Christopher Columbus and several kings of Castile: Pedro I the Cruel, Fernando III the Saint and his son, Alfonso X the Wise.
