Diving in the Medes Islands

Diving in the Medes Islands

Diving in the Medes Islands and the Costa Brava is an exceptional experience, thanks to their crystal-clear waters, rich seabed, and great biodiversity. Their dives are considered some of the best in Europe, due to their depths and their rich landscapes.

The Medes Islands are a small archipelago located 1 km from L'Estartit (Baix Empordà), within the Montgrí i les Illes Medes Natural Park.

It has been a protected marine reserve since 1983, which has allowed the recovery of species and the formation of corals, gorgonians, and posidonia meadows.

Excellent visibility (up to 20-30 meters on good days). Varying depths: from 5 meters to over 40, ideal for all levels.
