Ibiza and its sunsets

Ibiza and its sunsets

Ibiza is perhaps one of the most visited places in the world where there is a great variety of people, from billionaires to a hippie movement since the early 60s. This difference in culture is very notable on the island and in many contrasts, but where everyone agrees is its beautiful sunsets.

Its sunsets are among the best in the entire Mediterranean, with beautiful orange, reddish, pinkish and purple tones, which seduce those who observe them with dreamlike views. Each place and each sunset is unique so you can expect a small miracle every day.

These are considered the best places from which to see the sunsets, but they are not the only ones. We give a small selection:

Es Vedra

From its commanding position, the islet of Es Vedrà on the southern coast of Ibiza is surrounded by many urban legends, such as the one that says it is the third most magnetic place on earth, or that it is the tip of the sunken city of Atlantis. or that it is the island that inspired the Sirens of Homer's Odyssey. Although it is more than likely that none of these stories are true, the magic of this place has most likely inspired many stories, local people and tourists come to contemplate one of the best sunsets in the world and to make a wish,

Cala Conta

They are a set of beaches on the western coast of Ibiza with a west orientation, with transparent, crystalline waters and golden sands. Being just 15 minutes by car from San Antonio or San José, they are visited by many people.

Benirras Beach

Located in the northern part of the island, about 10 minutes from San Miguel by car, is Benirrás beach. A beautiful beach of sand and some stones, people visit it for its picturesque views of the rock called Cap Bernat, also known as the "finger of God", protected and has an exuberant nature, there is a concentration of hippies who "play their drums at sunset" in summer.

We could say that there are other fantastic places in Ibiza to see its sunsets, such as Cap de Falcó, Ses Salines or the Bay of Sant Antonio, among others, but the first three are among our favorites.
